Our Team

Becky Ash

Becky has been the Practice Manager at DAH since July 2004.  She worked here previously from June 1996 until February 1999.  Becky is currently going to Northern Virginia Community College for her A.S. in Business Management.  She lives in Lake Ridge with her husband, daughter, and mixed breed named "Amina".  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and playing with her daughter.

Barb Weltner

Barb is the Assistant Manager of Dumfries Animal Hospital.  She been with DAH since 1995.  Barb started out as a receptionist and has moved up from there.  She lives in Fredericksburg with her three dogs, "Willow" an Australian Shepherd / Corgi mix and "Bones" a 4 year old Fox Hound / Newfoundland mix.  In her spare time, she enjoys Gardening and working on her house.

Casey Phillips

Casey has been a Veterinary Assistant at DAH since October of 2000.  For the past few years, she's only been working two Sundays a month, so you may not see her very often.  Casey will graduate from Northern Virginia Community College this May with her A.S. in Science.  She lives in Stafford with her husband and step-daughter.  They share their home with two cats "Whisper" and "Prince" .  In her spare time, Casey enjoys swimming, Tae Kwon Do, and crocheting.

Julie Micheletti

Julie has been a Receptionist at DAH since December of 2003.  She lives in Woodbridge with her dog "Shadow" and her two cats "Flurrie" and "Sammie".  In her spare time, Julie enjoys gardening, spending time at the beach, and spending time with animals.

Elaine Decatur

Elaine has been one of our Boarder Technicians since August 2004.  She is currently our Boarder Technician Team Leader.  This means that Elaine makes sure that your pets are always getting the best care possible during their stay with us.

Ben Neuhaus

Julie Neff

Julie has been a Boarder Tech here since December of 1998.  Julie lives in Woodbridge with her two daughters.  She has one dog.  In her spare time, Julie enjoys reading and gardening.

Jordan Bates

Jordan has been a Boarder Tech at Dumfries Animal Hospital since May of 2006.    Jordan lives in Dumfries with his parents, his brother, two dogs, and two turtles.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing massively multiplayer online role playing games, and he loves taking care of animals.

Mike has been a Boarder Technician since August of 2005. 

Dee Ritenour

Dee has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician at DAH since July of 2006.  She has worked here previously before moving on to a local emergency clinic.  Currently, she shares her time between DAH and the emergency clinic.  Dee graduated as an LVT in 1990.  She lives in King George with her husband, two sons, and one daughter.  They share their house with a German Shepherd "Jerry Lee", two cats "Hobbs" and "Calvin", and a Guinea Pig "Roo".  In her spare time, Dee enjoys crafts and scrapbooking.

Michelle Pletz

Michelle has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician at DAH since June of 1997.  Michelle graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 1995 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.  She lives in Stafford with her husband, Kris and daughter, Kelsey.  Michelle and Kris share their home with three Chihuahuas named Lola, Hunni, and Pete, and two cats.  In her spare time, Michelle enjoys Real Estate, NASCAR, and fostering animals.

Terri Champion-Kenley

Terri has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since June 2003.

Danielle Haggart

Danielle has been with Dumfries Animal Hospital since June 2000.  She started here while still in high school as a part-time Boarder Technician.  She now fills all roles in the hospital from Veterinary Assistant to Receptioinist to Surgery Assistant.  Danielle shares her home with an Australian Cattle Dog named "Dakota" and a Domestic Long Hair Cat named "Faith".  In her spare time, Danielle enjoys swimming, singing, dancing, watching movies, and spending time with her daughters Kaylee and Ashleigh.

Mallory Lewis

Kerry has been one of our groomers since September 1997.  Currently, she is our Pet Care Center Supervisor. 

Lindsay Vincent

Lindsay has been a groomer at DAH since November 2001.

Libby Edwards

Libby has been one of our bathers since 2000.  She lives with her husband and 17 year old twin boys in Stafford, VA.  Libby has 2 dogs, a poodle mix named Gertie, and a very spoiled yorkshire terrier named Phyllis.  She also shares her home with cats and fish. 

Tiran Martin

Tiran has been one of our bathers since October 2003.
